Hear Pure, have set up camp in Beverley’s Saturday Market; bringing with them the hearing healthcare knowledge, skill and medical know-how you’ve been waiting for.
Having the ability to hear perfectly is something that many of us take for granted, likewise are the other five senses that a large majority of us possess. However, not everyone is blessed with having crystal clear senses. This is where the people at Hear Pure are here to help, having newly opened another store in Beverley’s Saturday Market. With sites in neighbouring town and city centres such as Hull, Grimsby and in Liverpool, Chester, Plymouth and Heswall, the business has grown into a team of highly skilled, highly qualified audiologists and hearing healthcare providers.
Dr Paul Catlow is the Audiologist based at the Beverley site, with a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support his patients, who he also treats at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital. Company Owner and Director, Vanessa Weeks spoke to LOCO exclusively about the faith she has in Dr Catlow’s expertise and the ethos at Hear Pure: “Paul is here to help people clinically and what he does is much more diagnostic than having a regular check-up with say a Boots or a Specsavers. Paul has 20-years plus experience in treating children, paediatrics from aged three and above, as well as with tinnitus problems, rehabilitation and counselling. What we do here is advise our clients on up to the minute technology, on a clinical basis instead of something that is out-dated to just price things low.” Having recently attained his Doctorate from Nova South Eastern University, it is clear that Dr Catlow hands are the best to be in, in the surrounding area. Back in 1999 Paul was awarded the Lavis Medical Award by his professional organisation, in recognition of the efforts to support his patients with a loss of hearing. This national award is presented annually to an individual that the organisation feel has provided excellence in a particular field (audio-logical rehabilitation in Paul’s case), which again proves that Dr Catlow is, and has been for some time.at the peak of his medical profession through his great compassion and care for every one of his patient’s needs.
For those of you who are in need of something in particular, or simply require a check-up; without having to travel into Hull or further afield, rest assured you can be treated by one of the best in the business at your convenience. As expected Hear Pure cater for all types of hearing needs, with products ranging from high to low end in price, all of an extremely high quality. Vanessa explained Hear Pure’s outlook on their products and the best way to approach you decisions when taking into consideration your medical requirements: “Unlike many high street chains, our audiologists are not just dispensers that are trained to sell and program hearing aids. And we most definitely do not give sales targets to any of our audiologists. We have to be price aware as Patients are shopping savvy and like to feel they’re getting a good deal. So we have our entry models that are £495 each and the top of the range, which are £1695 each. The average shelf life for hearing aids is five years, now we’ve had patients who have come in and have purchased their hearing aids elsewhere that need reprogramming, and we’re not going to start sell them something brand new because they should be getting five years or so out of what they have already. After five years, what happens is your ears change shape and size, your hearing needs change, your lifestyle may change and then we take all of this into consideration and recommend what is needed.” This approach has made Hear Pure one of the leading specialists in hearing healthcare.
Hear Pure also accept GP referrals to both NHS and private hospitals. For more information visit:
